Chamomile Country Project is a 4-phase long- term residential program that serves 6 dual- diagonsed children/youth between the ages of 9 and 19 (intake 9-14). These children usually have organic or brain injury challenges plus abandonment and/or abuse issues. They may transition through to our adult house for life skills and on to semi-independent, to independent, apartment living. Entry to adult program can only be through the transition from the child/youth program.
We have a family role model program with each client having a parent therapist as well as the Slocum family plus long term staff who form the foundation of the root family. We also have Dr. Kenneth Hranchuk as Behavioural Consultant, Dr. Stavrakaiki as Psychiatriat,and we consult with Miranda Dayvis for therapeutic bodywork when our clients are ready.
