Maison D'Amis Inc. (House of Friends is a residential program for children ranging from infancy to eighteen years of age who have a wide range of physical and cognitive disabilities. The home is designed to provide every child with a loving and nurturing family environment. The residence is a spacious single level home which is fully wheelchair accessible and has special features such as a fully accessible washroom and shower along with a therapy room. The home is large enough to respect each individual's personal space as well as provide ample room for group activities. The home also has a pool for an alternative environment for physiotherapy and recreation during the warm summer months. Each child's program includes Basic Life Skills, Independent Living Skills and many recreational opportunities in the community so he/she may achieve his or her fullest potential. All staff members are equipped with the necessary skills to provide the love, instruction and proper attention that each child requires to maximize their developmental progress.
