This is a long term residential treatment program. The purpose of this program is to provide traumatized children with an opportunity to have corrective experiences in order to change their view of the adult world. Each client is reviewed on an annual basis by the treatment team: Dr. Anita Halpern, the child's CAS worker, Section 23 teacher, classroom CYW, the Program Manager and the residential staff team. A treatment plan is established and followed by all parties.
These residents have access to one of the five Section 23 classrooms run by Mon Ami in the City of Peterborough.
