CAS Commission

The Ministry of Children and Youth Services has established a Commission to examine the sustainability of the Child Protection System.   Costs have increased significantly for CAS' over the past 10 years, at a level which is not sustainable for government in the long term. The Commission will determine cost drivers & develop solutions that will better focus resources on improving outcomes for children and youth.   Below please find documentation regarding the Commission from both OARTY and the Ministry of Children and Youth Services.
