The Ministry of Children and Youth Services has established a Commission to examine the sustainability of the Child Protection System. Costs have increased significantly for CAS' over the past 10 years, at a level which is not sustainable for government in the long term. The Commission will determine cost drivers & develop solutions that will better focus resources on improving outcomes for children and youth.
